As Regional Vice President, Michael brings with him over 13 years in retail sales and wholesale distribution experience in alternative investments, development and syndicated private real estate investments.
Prior to joining Vistia Capital, Michael worked as a wholesale sales executive where he has informed, educated and earned the trust of licensed financial representatives helping raise over $50m for Reg. D private placements, syndicated 1031 exchanges, development projects, non-traded REITs, and traded alternative investment funds. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, seminars, and client events. Michael is an estate planning attorney and has worked with many clients as a financial advisor.
Michael graduated with a B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington Seattle and holds a law degree from UNLV’s Boyd School of Law. Michael served proudly as a combat medic in the US Army.
Originally from the Pacific Northwest Michael now lives in San Diego, California. He loves the outdoors, enjoys spending time at the beach, backcountry backpacking, road cycling, skydiving, skiing, and working on his yard and garden. Michael has spent several years traveling and living abroad all throughout Europe, South America, and Southeast Asia, with his most recent adventure hiking the mountains and valleys of Peru.
